NORFOLK WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2021
NORFOLK WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2021
WELCOME TO THE NORFOLK WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL, SOUTHBURGH
We look forward to welcoming our world music audience in 2021 to a whole weekend of music, laughter, fun and the opportunity to meet wonderful people representing a wide range of nationalities and cultures.
In 2021 you can depend upon the same cocktail of great music, fantastic food, vibrant colours, joy and fun that keeps our audience returning, year after year.
With an exciting line up of bands, interactive workshops featuring circus skills, drumming, singing and dancing, creative skills tent, international cuisine, a bar serving local ale and our ‘Let the fun beGin’ bar, this year’s Festival of World Music aims to entertain you and feed your body and soul for the whole weekend.
The 2020 Norfolk World Music Festival will provide non-stop entertainment, with two stages featuring great acts and so much more to see and do for all the family. Why not join us for the weekend, pitch your tent and relax. And if the children need to run off some energy, there are more than 10 acres of land for them to explore and experience the great Norfolk outdoors.
Norfolk World Music Festival ties in with the new Norfolk day, with a vast range of local and world artists bringing all that’s good about the world to the heart of Norfolk.
We strive to ensure a positive and happy environment for all those who attend the festival whatever their age. Where else can you see a teenage son and Dad bouncing about to Congolese music in the middle of the night or a Granny and toddler dancing to drum and bass music? Yep! it happens here. Here are some of the comments from our audiences last year:
This was our first time to your festival. I have to say we had a fantastic weekend. The children had loads to do and were made extremely welcome by everyone. It’s so refreshing to be around so many great people all with a great attitude and all enjoying every aspect of the festival. The children enjoyed it as much as the adults. All of this and raising much needed money for an excellent cause. Fantastic guys, we will definitely see you again…… Tommy
Once again we salute you and thank you for yet another glorious occasion ... Love, Family, Music ... 'All that is in Heaven is already here on Earth'. Thank you to you Anna, your family and the Southburgh Family for making it happen xx …. Clarissa
Just returned home from an amazing weekend. Our First Southburgh Festival But certainly not our last. I just want to share somewhere publicly a huge hearty thank you to all the individuals that helped us when our air-beam tent burst (I’m terrible with names) - from the guys that tried in the hot, hot heat to fix the problem - to the lovely lady that brought us a Diddy tent from home for us to borrow for the festival - to the first aid lady for checking out what has since turned out to be a broken toe) - to all the empathetic souls that showed us compassion and a friendly ear when it all got a bit too much for this frazzled single mum on a mission to cope with. We’ll be back next year and will be in touch to see if we can volunteer somewhere to pay forward all the kindness that has been shown to us this weekend… Kate
